Rio Olympic:Odion Ighalo is free to go - Sanchez Flores

Watford boss Quique Sanchez Flores has declared his support for his prized striker Odion Ighalo to play at the Rio Okympic Games.

Ighalo is been tipped as one of the over aged players to participate in the Games in Brazil.
The boss declared in a press conference he will not stand in Odion Ighalo's way if he decides to represent Nigeria at this summer's Olympic Games.

The Olympics which comes up in August incidentally is the resting amd preparation time for the new season.

"It depends on the players also. Some players want to go to the Olympic games, other players prefer to rest.

"It depends, but finally if the decision of the player is that he wants to go, I am happy."

On speculations about interest from Arsenal he has this to say He is one of the best strikers in the division so speculation is very normal.

"It's good. I love speculation for all the players in the squad."

"It means the performance of the team is good, every teams want players of Watford so we are doing something well and it's good news for our team.”

Ighalo has scored 14 goals this season.
