Newcastle United Appoints Rafael Benitez new coach

Following the sack of Steve McClaren on Friday by the management of Newcastle United Rafael Benitez has been appointed the new manager to charge of activities immediately on a three year contract.
The Magpies have lost10 of their last 12 games and posted an embarrassing home defeat against to Bournemouth last weekend, a result sited by the club owner is the last straw which ultimately cost manager McClaren his job.
 Rafael Benitez is on a familiar terrain in England having coached Liverpool and Chelsea, the former of which he won the Champions League with back in 2005.
The Spaniard had a training session with the squad immeddiatelly after his presentation in front of the media.
Benitez now has an will have an uphill task in ensuring Newcastle does not slip into relegation as they are place 19th on the log with ten games to the end of the season.
The acid test will be away with Leicester City on Monday.
