BAYELSA WOMEN PROTEST SOUTHERN IJAW GUBER RESULT

Women from Southern Ijaw Local Government Area this afternoon took to the street to  protest the anticipated release of the governorship elections result from the area.

They alleged that the results was false as election did not took place in many places in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area.

They called on the Federal Government to recall the military who They accused of complicity in the whole issue.

As if reading the handwriting on the wall the Nigeria Police this afternoon ban every form of procession, rally, protest, peaceful or otherwise to forestall break down of law and order.

However, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, is leading in six out of seven local government area so far released. 

The result from Southern Ijaw is being awaited.
