Akwa United wins Premier League Super 4

 Akwa United on Friday night asserted their domination of the football scene in Nigeria as they win the League Management Company organized Nigeria Professional Football League Super 4 tournament after they played a goalless draw against Enyimba at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.

Federation Cup champions, finished top of the log with nine points from 6 matches while Enyimba FC finished second on eight points.
This is Akwa United second title in four months a proof that the federation Cup trophy was not a fluke.
In the second match played earlier, Warri Wolves defeated Nasarawa United A goal to nil courtesy  Kelvin Itoya's goal from the penalty spot 
Nasarawa however finished third after amassing eight points while Warri Wolves finished rock bottom on the table with seven points.
The Super 4 is played by the Country's representative in continental assignments..
Enyimba and Warri Wolves will feature in the CAF Champions League, while Akwa United and Nasarawa will play in the second-tier CAF Confederation Cup.
