All Progressive Congress meet in secret,keep mum


 For the first time after an acrimonious  battle between power blocks in the All Progressive  Congress, APC,  an all embracing meeting was held in the presidential Villa yesterday.

The meeting comprise of the leadership of all the organs controlled by the party including the Presidency, governors, National Assembly leadership, ministers, party leaders amongst others.

The party which was held behind closed door was presided over by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.

The out come of the meeting was not made public as all the attendees were not fortcoming with information as journalist probed. However this led to insinuations that the meeting was meant for the settlement of the CCT trial of the Senate President Dr. Olusola Saraki.

A notion dispelled by one of the participant who volunteered information on condition of anonymity said current political issues in the country, state and funding of the party.
The meeting stared about 11a.m ended by 3pm.

Party chieftains present at the meeting included Tinubu; former Vice President Atiku Abubakar; Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, the party’s National Chairman; Segun Oni, National Vice Chairman, South-West; Senate President Saraki; Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yusuf Lasun and Senate Leader, Ali Ndume.

 Also present were Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal; Imo State deputy governor, Prince Eze Madumere; a former interim chairman of the party, Chief Bisi Akande; Minister of Science and Technology, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu, among others.
